After about 6 months of no blogging and focusing my energies on my freelancing work, I’ve decided it is time to get back in the game. Over the past 2-3 weeks I’ve been working on creating online identities where I think they will be most useful to my career (i.e. Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc). Some are more short-term and trendy while others are long-term and a little more meaningful. I’ve had somewhat of an awakening coming into 2009 and it’s far time I get to work on an established online identity that meets all of the other work I’ve been performing in the middle.
Bringing all of my other volunteer work together with an online identity these days is a must. You simply must do it. Everything in life is about connections and networking. I believe everyone has something to offer the world; they simply need to find the right people who can help them along their path. (And, of course, they need to have the drive and desire to do just that.)
